By ticking the "I accept the Terms and Conditions, Payment Terms" box, clicking on the 'Confirm Booking' button and making payment, you have read agreed to the following terms and conditions.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Check-in available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Standard check-in time is 3.00pm. The name of the booking (or nominee) must be the person checking in.
Standard check-out time by 10.00am.
Please notify in the event of late arrival.

BOOKING
Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.

Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of reservation.

All accommodation bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by provision of Valid Credit Card details.

By providing valid credit card details, you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Nook On The Hill to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card in the case of cancellation or no show penalties as detailed below.

100% Payment Required at time of booking on the card provided.

All reservations will be confirmed by email, it is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation promptly and advise Nook On The Hill if there are any errors or misunderstandings.

All bookings are non-transferable and are not able to be on-sold.

A two-night minimum stay applies for all reservations, a three-night minimum stay applies for check-ins on:
Christmas/New Year period: 23rd Dec – 2nd Jan annually (or stays that fall within this window)
Easter Holidays: Good Friday – Easter Monday annually
Long weekends: recognised in Victoria and nation-wide

Rates are per room, per night based on two-person occupancy. Maximum occupancy per room is two people.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND AMENDMENTS
Amendments are available up to 30 days prior to your check in free of charge.

Cancellations and refunds are available up to 30 days prior to your check in. The amount of refund is the full value of your booking.

No refund will be issued if your stay is cut short for any reason.

All bookings made outside of 14 Days prior to check in may cancel their booking within 24 hours if they have made a booking in error or have misunderstood the terms and conditions. The amount of refund is the full value of your booking less a $50 Administration fee.

In the event a guest does not arrive for their booking or amends or cancels on the date of their booking, full payment will be forfeited.

An amendment or cancellation confirmation email must be obtained. If an amendment or cancellation confirmation email is not received, the booking remains in effect.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your journey to Nook On The Hill, including domestic travel insurance with pandemic cover, to protect against any unforeseeable circumstances in the lead-up to your stay that might prevent you from getting to Nook On The Hill.

It is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation email and promptly advise Nook On The Hill if there are any errors or misunderstandings.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All accommodation is subject to availability.

Prior to arrival, guests will be required to provide a valid credit card to cover any incidental charges.

Damage, breakages, theft, and losses are the responsibility of the person named in the booking during their stay. In the event of major damages, a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that we would charge if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition.

Additional cleaning fees may apply as required by management.

The consumption of drugs in rooms is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of booking, dismissal of guest/s without a refund and legal prosecution.

The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.

Lost or stolen keys will incur a $200 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card.

Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily wastes) a $200 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any professional floor cleaning charges at cost, plus a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that we would charge if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition

The breach of any of the above conditions may result in immediate termination of rental and charges.

Much time, love and care has been spent creating this property for you to enjoy, please be respectful.

ON THE PROPERTY
The gate must be kept shut at all times, this is to protect the native garden from wildlife damage.

FIREWOOD POLICY
We supply one wheelbarrow of firewood for the fire pit per two night stay. If you require extra wood during your stay it can be purchased at $50 per wheelbarrow, it is based on an honesty system, please let us know when you use more.

The fire pit is only to be used at night-time. Please check the fire danger rating before lighting the fire, the fire is not to be used on Total Fire Ban days or Extreme & Catastrophic fire days. Information for the fire danger rating for the local Wimmera region and any restrictions that may be in force can be found on the CFA website here.

 
CHILDREN AND PETS
Any children aged under 18 years of age (including newborns and infants) are not permitted on the Nook On The Hill property. Nook On The Hill reserves the right and full discretion to not accept a booking for children in this age bracket.
Pets are not permitted on the Nook On The Hill property.
 
NOISE AND PARTY POLICY
Zero tolerance party policy. In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all neighbouring properties of Nook On The Hill, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the property. 

If complaints are received and you are found not to have been respectful of neighbours you will be required to vacate the premises with no further notice or refund.
Please be respectful to our neighbours at all times and keep noise to a minimum. Access to the water tank must be clear at all times, the large CFA valve must be accessible at all times in the case of fire emergency.

PARKING
Guests are to park vehicles in designated areas on the property only.

MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
The use of Nook On The Hill for marketing or advertising is by written agreement only from the owner Benjamin Bailey-Webb. Nook On The Hill reserves the right to cancel accommodation or seek compensation for the use of our property or seek removal of unapproved usage of our properties. Damages will be sought for commercial deals that are affected by the unauthorised usage of our accommodation in advertising or marketing. This includes 3rd party arrangements.

SMOKING 
There is no smoking inside any of the Properties. If there is evidence of such including a smoke odour you will be charged a fee of $500 to cover the cleaning of curtains, carpets and air-conditioning sterilisation.

DAMAGE
Whilst you are in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property, its furniture fittings, or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner/Agent. Any such breakages, damage or loss must be reported immediately and paid for prior to departure. Failure to comply with this condition will result in a debit of any such costs and expenses to your credit card or security deposit without further notice.

NOOK ON THE HILL BUSHFIRE POLICY
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety of all guests at Nook On The Hill.

If access to Nook On The Hill is officially cut off (as determined by Victorian Police) and is still cut off at 12pm on the day you are due to arrive; your booking will be cancelled and you will receive a gift voucher for the full value of your cancelled booking.

If there is a bushfire event, but access is not officially cut off by Victorian Police at 12pm on the day of your arrival, you may proceed at your own risk and your booking will not be cancelled. No refund will be given if you choose to cancel your booking.

Where a road is officially cut off (as determined by Victorian Police) but a reasonable alternative route is available; you may proceed at your own risk and your booking will not be cancelled. No refund will be given if you choose to cancel your booking.

INDEMNITY
You, the guest, indemnify the agency against any liability which may attach to the agency as a result of damage, injury or loss being personal or proprietary suffered by any person where damage, injury or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the tenant.


Management reserves the right to update these Terms + Conditions when required at their discretion.
