There are olives in your hamper. They came from a grove in the Grampians, which is not something most people expect when they think of the region. Red Rock Olives has been growing them in Pomonal for years, and they’re better than most olives you’ll find anywhere.

For a decade, David and Rita ran the Red Rock grove with the kind of attention that shows up in the product. They’ve since stepped back from the Pomonal farmgate, but the olives continue — their work lives on in every jar.

We’ve included the Mixed Olives in Brine — a seasonal selection grown right here in the Grampians. Kalamata, along with whatever else is ready, brined simply and without fuss. They work beautifully alongside the local cheese in your hamper, and even better with a glass of something from Pomonal Estate.

Open the jar, pour a glass, and take the rest of the afternoon at your own pace.
