The Nook has a scent. Not a diffuser plugged into the wall — a custom fragrance, developed in collaboration with Amanda Stevens of Rewild Co., that you’ll notice the moment you step inside. It’s one of those details that guests often can’t quite place at first, and then ask about later.

Amanda’s Work

Amanda runs Rewild Co. as a small, intentional studio — no unnecessary chemicals, responsibly sourced ingredients, and packaging that treats sustainability as a given rather than a selling point. Hand-stitched bags, hemp string, native-seeded paper, recycled cardboard. Everything has been thought about.

She describes her approach clearly: moving forward in the world with conscientiousness and care. It’s the same principle we try to apply to the Nook, which is why the partnership made sense from the beginning.

The Fragrance

The scent was designed specifically for this place — the landscape, the materials, the mood. It’s present in the room, subtle enough to register without announcing itself, specific enough that guests associate it with the Nook long after they’ve left.
